Finally comes the "Allergy-free Hotels" project |
|
Finally starts the "Allergy-free Hotels" project. We decided to publish the hotels meeting the requirements when we receive their statement. We preferred to send all email first and then insert the hotels in the catalog, as we receive the answers.
We initially contacted about 4,000 four to five stars hotels. Only after we will contact the three stars hotels. The inclusion in the catalog is FREE for all who respond, so as to ensure maximum transparency to the visitors of our site.
In the early days of publication, there will be few structures included, but we are looking to get more cooperation from the hoteliers. |

"Allergy-free Hotels" project |

Allergies affect a large proportion of the population and are clearly rising. Today at least 20% of the population suffers from allergies and it's easy to predict that in future this percentage will rise to 30%. The idea of developing a project that may help allergic patients to find an allergy-free hotel was born from the requests of visitors to our site. They requested to consult a selection of hotels that are equipped with specific devices to allergic patients.
To identify and define the parameters needed to define an "allergy-free" room, we asked collaboration to allergologists cooperating with the site. The allergologists identified a number of parameters related to the structure, function and decoration of the room: from the surfaces of the room furnishings, the air-conditioning system and the cleaning of the room. |
